Olympic WeightLifting Classes
Olympic Lifting is a mechanical workout component used in the strengthening and development of the body’s core, also known as the trunk. Modern sports science shows that Olympic Lifting is one of the most effective ways of stimulating the central nervous system and muscle systems of the core, causing the body to go into recovery and growth mode. The lifts incorporate deep squatting, the driving forces of the hips and lower body, and load-bearing strength on the knees and ankles. As long as Olympic Lifting is performed under proper conditions, the recovery gains to spinal, back, hip, knee and upper body strength are significant compared to gains from traditional weightlifting.
Classes: Thursday Night @ 7:45pm and Saturday @ 2:15pm
