Frequently Asked Questions

What is BRICK?

BRICK Sport Performance Training is a revolution in fitness! Utilizing CrossFit methodology throughout our training programs, BRICK focuses on wellness and fitness with results in mind. BRICK is where you go when you want to succeed and reach new heights in personal fitness and. Achievement. BRICK is ideal for anyone at any age and fitness level because we tailor our workouts to you. BRICK is most noted for our community of positive and encouraging athletes and trainers. You will always feel welcome to be here.

What’s the difference between Boot Camp and BRICK?

What’s the difference between Jello and a rock? Most Boot Camps focus on cardio and isometric weight training which lead to a plateau and become less effective as time goes on. Also, most Boot Camps in LA are really night clubs masquerading as fitness. BRICK is real fitness with real results. BRICK’s techniques have been proven at the highest levels of competitive athletics to lead to greater gains in stamina and energy and fat burning while developing strength. Another key difference is that we don’t stuff you in a dark smelly box and yell at you.

Is BRICK only for serious athletes?

No!!! While you’ll see beautiful bodies when you walk into BRICK, you have to remember that they didn’t (all) get here looking that way. BRICK can be scaled to meet your abilities, whatever they may be. We work with clients of all age groups and fitness levels, as well as in rehabilitating physical injuries.

What’s the drop in policy for out of town guests?

Just come in and we’ll take good care of you. No drop in fee, but if you want to bring us a t-shirt from your usual box, we won’t complain as long as it’s a size Large. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before classes to complete your paperwork. That’s it!

How intense are classes? They look scary!

Classes are designed with you in mind. If you’re new, the coach will instruct you on scaling to your abilities and fitness level. It’s not a race, it’s a journey.

All new members interested in CrossFit must complete a 6-class Fundamentals course that covers proper form and function. Only after completion of Fundamentals can you take part in CrossFit.

We also offer SpeedX and Cardio Kickboxing to all members and guests.

What can I expect at BRICK?

Like most things in life, you get out what you put in…except in BRICK’s case, you’ll get more than you ever expected. You can expect to shock yourself with the things you’ll achieve.
